Persona 4 Revival Gets a February 2027 Release Date and New Story Trailer

What was announced

Persona 4 Revival, Atlus's full remake of the 2008 PlayStation 2 classic, will launch worldwide on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. During the Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast on August 26, 2026, Atlus released a new story trailer showing an extended look at the Investigation Team as they hunt for the culprit behind the Midnight Channel murders in the town of Inaba. A playable demo is available now at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, with a second hands-on session planned for Tokyo Game Show 2026 (September 17–21).

Where the series actually started

While you wait for Revival, the story it's based on is already findable secondhand on its original Japanese hardware — the Persona 2 duology and the series' 1996 debut.

Both PSP editions sit behind glass at Super Potato rather than in the open bins, which is usually a sign the shop treats a title as a collector item. The prices above are one shop on one day — worth checking against the online listings below before you decide.

The debut is the odd one out. In Japan it went out as (Megami Ibunroku Persona), and Japanese listings carry that title rather than the Western one — so search by the Japanese name, not by Revelations: Persona.

Know the code, find the game

Type a Western title. Get the Japanese name, the cartridge code printed on the spine, and links to the shops that have it.
